Try rewatching these forgotten Disney films with your kid

Now it’s time to give them a rewatch with your kid!

The classic Disney films were a memorable part of our childhood and gained huge success from all around the world. Films like Finding Nemo, Toy Story, or The Incredibles were loved and seen by an entire generation. But there were always some Disney films that remained underrated even when they deserve the same hype. You may have watched those films but forgot with time eventually.

Atlantis: The lost empire:

If you know about this film you also know that Princess Kida never had a huge fanbase as Cinderella or Ariel. But after watching the film at least your kid may become a fan of this film. Released in 2001 this adventure film’s plot goes like this, Milo, an ambitious young adventurer joins a group of daredevil explorers and decides to find the lost empire of Atlantis. To know if Milo succeeded in his mission, give it a watch with your child.

Bolt:

Some may argue that Disney Pixar’s Bolt achieved great success but it didn’t compare to other Pixar hits. Pixar’s Bolt succeeded to show how strong pet and owner bonds can be. So what makes Bolt a must-watch Disney film? After Bolt gets separated from his owner he decides to find her out no matter what, through his journey, he gains so much experience and makes friends such as Rhino and Mittens who come from different backgrounds. If you have a four-legged friend at home then it’s time to rewatch this film with your family.

Meet the Robinsons:

Now you can’t disagree that this film was underrated and still many haven’t watched this yet. In this film, the protagonist is 12-year-old Lewis, a genius orphan kid who was curious to know about his biological mother. Lewis always faced a bit of bad luck at getting adopted. His latest invention gets messed up by a mysterious man before he presents it. When Lewis was about to give up he meets Wilbur, a time traveler, and there his adventure begins.

Treasure Planet:

This film is said to be based on the famous book Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. Protagonist Jim Hawkins is curious about adventures but leads a regular life and works at his mother’s restaurant. Jim's life changed after he received an ancient map from an elderly pirate. If your kid likes sci-fi then a colorful film like Treasure Planet would be perfect for him.
