Epic The Big Bang Theory characters that deserve their own movie

It started with a big bang in the universe and the show that has a similar name has also created a universe of its own where it has fans, cults, their theories, comic-con events and everything else. Yes, we are talking about, The Big Bang Theory, our beloved sitcom that has given unfathomable popularity to the nerds. Known for its quirky characters and clever humour, it has given us some characters that stand out so much that fans often wonder what they’d be like in their own movies.

It is no doubt that the cast creates wonder when they come together. Be it the lead actors or the recurring characters, everyone has their own fame and popularity. But here are a few characters from The Big Bang Theory who definitely deserve their own film.

Sheldon Cooper

First up is our beloved Sheldon Cooper. Sheldon is arguably the most iconic character on the show. This scientist at known for his eccentric behaviour, remarkable intelligence, and lack of social skills. He has made people his fans all over around. I mean, who can ever forget his iconic bazinga?

If we see, a movie focused on Sheldon about his early life and his experiences as a child prodigy could work wonders. Surely, people will argue that there is already a series for it but here we are talking about his teens and early adult life. Who is better than the evergreen Jim Parsons playing that role, again!

Penny

What is this series without Penny? I mean the show revolves around two scientist and this cute waitress. Originally an aspiring actress from Omaha, Penny’s journey from a waitress at The Cheesecake Factory to a successful pharmaceutical sales rep is fascinating. Also, if you think about it, not just with Leonard, her relationship as friend cum sister to Sheldon is highly appreciated.

There could be a movie about Penny that could explore her life before she moved to Pasadena and met Leonard, Sheldon, and the gang. We all have heard about her fun college time and other stories.

Howard Wolowitz

Howard Wolowitz is another character with a rich backstory that would translate well to the big screen. The guy with a hair like Ringo and who claims to have the same swag as Woody Allen, he steals the show with his comic timing.

A movie about him could explore his childhood and his relationship with his mother, as well as his journey through MIT and his work as an aerospace engineer. To make it more fun, you can have Raj in it too.

Raj

Raj Koothrappali’s story also has the potential for a captivating film. Raj, who initially struggled with selective mutism around women has one of the most endearing arcs on the show. A movie about Raj could explore his passion for astronomy and his professional achievements. Raj’s charm, sensitivity, and unique perspective would make for a compelling and uplifting film.

Leonard

Leonard’s journey as a physicist dealing with a difficult childhood, an overbearing mother, and his complex relationships with his friends and Penny, offers plenty of material for a movie. The film could delve into his early academic achievements, his move to California, and his initial experiences living with Sheldon.

The Big Bang Theory features a range of dynamic characters who could have great storylines. Even Stuart and Bert could have their own movie, that’s how good the show is.
