The Office is one of those shows that remains beloved long after the final episode has been aired. Its eccentric characters, comic situations, and cringe-worthy moments have made it turn into a darling across the culture.
Of course, it was an ensemble masterpiece, but there are a few characters within the show who shone so brightly that they needed their own spin-off movie. Here are the finest characters from show who could most likely carry a film of their own.
Dwight Schrute
Dwight Schrute, portrayed by Rainn Wilson, has to be sort of one of the most unforgettable characters on the show "The Office." Dwight comes with an extreme weirdly weird personality, and a passion for farming beets, along with iffy martial artistry, making him such a developed character ripe for a detailed analysis.
The film that would be based on Dwight would follow his life running Schrute Farms, giving insight into all of the oddities of the Schrute family and his complicated relationship with cousin Mose. Add to this a bunch of weird business ventures that only he finds plausible.
Creed Bratton
Creed Bratton is a mystery wrapped in an enigma. Throughout the series he drops hints about his previous, mysterious work—that it possibly involved fun, that he was a cult leader, and most tellingly, that he has many aliases.
Michael Scott
Although Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell, was the heart of "The Office," his story after leaving Dunder Mifflin has always been a topic of interest by fans. Following Michael's life after Scranton, the film could at one time be heartwarming and hilarious. Did he and Holly settle down and begin to have a family? How is Michael coping with his life away from the office and being that 'World's Best Boss' that he boasted of? It may, therefore, even be a study in the life of Michael, in his quest for happiness and achievement in his personal life, with a hint of the uncomfortable comedy that endeared it to audiences.
Kelly Kapoor
Kelly is a character who should live in her own romantic comedy film. A movie about Kelly could be how she ventured away from Scranton to become a Hollywood socialite, where the film could show pieces like a reality TV cultural satire of the events of Kelly navigating the seemingly shallow waters of fame, fashion, and failed relationships, combined of course with her one-line zingers.
Jim and Pam
Jim and Pam Halpert, played by John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer, are the iconic couple in "The Office." A movie about their life after the series ended will detail their life's trials with problems in marriage, parenthood, and shifts in career directions. Within this, a feel-good movie on love, accommodation, and everyday challenges could easily fill the screen with materials because, while Jim has reinvention and a great sense of entrepreneurial zeal carried throughout, Pam has her art.
Angela Martin
Angela Martin, played by Angela Kinsey, is the straight-laced, no-nonsense accountant with a deep love for cats and a tendency to judge. A movie on Angela might be set in her personal life, in which she gets to showcase her weird relationship, her cats, and life after Dunder Mifflin. It might be a dark comedy!
It might just have some hilarity and feel-good moments in it, touching a lighter side that fans would love to know more about in this endearing couple.
