When it comes to playing as a Killer in the asymmetrical horror game Dead By daylight, aura reading becomes a handy tool at your disposal. The 4-v-1 cat and mouse chase survival game is thrilling to play as a Survivor and even more so as a Killer.

Aura Reading can be for Survivors, generators, hooks for Killers. There are perks and hexes for Killers and perks and items for Survivors to enable aura-reading.

Here are the best aura reading perks in Dead by Daylight

Killer Perks

A Nurse’s Calling

Any survivor healing or being healed within 28 meters near the Killer, will have their aura revealed to the Killer. This perk helps track down wounded survivors and quickly downing them. However, Killer must have mobility because 28 meters isn’t that great a distance.

Barbecue And Chilli

After hooking a survivor, the aura of survivor 40 meters from the hook will be revealed to the Killer for 4 seconds. It is a powerful perk as it allows to track down survivors’ exact location. However experiences Survivors can avoid their aura being read by going inside a locker or hiding behind a generator.

Lethal Pursuer

Lethal Pursuer reveals aura of all the survivors at the start of the trial. Very useful for a high mobility killer that can quickly go cross map.

Bitter Murmur

Each time a generator is completed, the auras of the Survivors around the generator will be revealed to the Killer. It is especially helpful if you run endgame perks.

Rancor

Rancor reveals the aura of the Obsession every time a Generator is completed. When the Exit Gates are powered, Rancor allows the Killer to Mori he Obsession without the need to have hooked them at all.

Survivor Perks

Kindred

The aura of the Killer around a hooked Survivor is revealed to all the Survivors. Also the aura of all Survivors are revealed to each other. It is especially helpful when the Killer is camping or the Survivors need healing before going in for the save

Distortion

This perk counters any Aura reading perk that the Killer has. Any aura reading won’t be happening when a survivor runs this perk.

Windows of opportunity

The auras of all the vaults, pallets are revealed in yellow with a distance of 32 metres. This perk is especially helpful when in chase as it give information about the areas where pallets are available to use.

Wiretap

After repairing a gen for 4 seconds, Wiretap can be installed. The aura of the Killer is revealed for the duration the Killer stays within 14 metres of the gen. Very helpful in chases.
