The only biological children of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who are now teenagers, have lately been mistaken for one another. Vivienne was misidentified as Shiloh while out shopping in Los Angeles.
Both of them have been in Hollywood movies: Shiloh in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Brad and Kung Fu Panda 3; Vivienne in Disney's Maleficent with Angelina.
Pitt and Jolie, who were still in a relationship at the time, traveled to Swakopmund, Namibia, where Jolie gave birth to Shiloh, their first biological child. The country's beauty served as an inspiration for Jolie to give birth there after she had previously used it as the location for the Beyond Borders filming. She has also received a great deal of appreciation for her dedication to Africa as an ambassador for the UN organization for refugees.
But how much actually unites Shiloh, her elder sister, who turns 16 this week, and 13-year-old Vivienne?
Both of their names have unique meanings.
The origins of the sisters' names are just as unique as their exotic locations of birth.
As an homage to her maternal grandmother, Jolie's mother Marcheline Bertrand, Vivienne's middle name is Marcheline. The meaning of Shiloh's name is also unique. Jolie stated in a Vanity Fair interview that her parents almost called their first child Shiloh Baptist until a miscarriage prevented it. since it was the most traditionally Southern name [my parents] could think of and since my father had been filming in Georgia.
"I've always loved the name. In hotels, I used to walk below it: Shiloh Baptist. When Brad contacted the motel where I was staying, I was already beneath it, she claimed.
The biological relationship
Shiloh and Vivienne are biological sisters with some of the most beautiful genes in entertainment, so it's hardly surprising that they are already beginning to resemble one another.
In fact, it's become difficult to distinguishbbb the two sisters in paparazzi images in recent years as both of them rose up in height.
In January, Jolie and Vivienne went on a mother-daughter shopping trip in Los Angeles. At first, onlookers and photographers thought Vivienne was Shiloh. It is becoming more difficult to distinguish the two sisters since they seem so similar to one another, especially while wearing torn jeans and a casual grey T-shirt.
In truth, Vivienne was misidentified as Shiloh in the images that were published by several news organizations and celebrity websites. It's not even her real twin, either!
