As of 2022, there are no female racers on the starting grid of Formula One. However, that does not mean Formula One has no place for women. Over the years, several women have risen against all odds to secure their places in the world of F1. Indeed, when it comes to racing, it is a long way to go but inside the team paddocks, there are several women in-charge of various operations. Susie Wolff, CEO of Venturi Racing

People mostly know Susie Wolff as the wife of Toto Wolff, who is the team principal of Mercedes. However, Susie is a lot more than that. As of now, she is the CEO of Formula E team Venturi Racing. Although she is not directly linked with Mercedes, she is often seen in the paddocks of Mercedes AMG supporting her husband. After all, Susie Wolff is a seasoned former racer who knows a lot about racing and her knowledge is a boon to Toto Wolff.

Charlotte Sefton, a great friend to Lando and McLaren’s important member

Charlotte Sefton made an appearance or two in the paddock of McLaren this year, but unfortunately, she will not be seen in the McLaren paddock anymore. Reason? After serving seven long years as the F1 Communications Manager, Charlotte has moved forward with W Series as the Head of Communications. She was one of the best figures in the McLaren paddock and is still a great friend to Lando Norris.

Jennie Gow, one of the biggest F1 correspondents

44-year-old Jennie Gow is an always-smiling personality who is often seen in the F1 paddocks and pit lanes interviewing different F1 personalities. Presently an F1 correspondent of BBC News, Jennie Gow, has covered motorsport news for a long period. Not merely Formula One, she has also covered several seasons of MotoGP. Apart from working as a reporter, Gow is also the F1 radio presenter on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Angela Cullen, close to Hamilton

If you watch Formula One regularly, you know who Angela Cullen is. She is often seen around Hamilton because Angela is Hamilton’s physiotherapist. Not just a physiotherapist, but Angela is a wonderful buddy to Lewis and they are often caught hanging together. Joined the F1 team in 2015, the 47-year-old Cullen is from New Zealand and as per Wikipedia, Angela is a former field hockey player.
