These players have seen all the glory a cricketer can hope for!

Representing India in an ICC tournament is a source of immense pride for every player, who strives to excel on the field and bring home the coveted silverware. India has established itself as a formidable team on the global stage, achieving success in major ICC events. A select few players have played pivotal roles in guiding the team to victory in all three ICC white-ball tournaments — the ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup, and Champions Trophy. In this article, we will explore the list of Indian players who have won all three ICC white-ball trophies.

Virender Sehwag

Virender Sehwag played a crucial role in India's triumphs at the 2002 Champions Trophy, the 2007 T20 World Cup, and the 2011 ODI World Cup. As a key figure in the 2002 Champions Trophy, Sehwag contributed significantly to India's joint victory. He emerged as the tournament's leading run-scorer, accumulating 271 runs in 5 innings at an impressive average of 90.33. In the inaugural T20 World Cup, Sehwag scored 133 runs across 5 innings. He continued his impactful batting in the 2011 ODI World Cup, starting with a memorable 175 against Bangladesh. Sehwag finished among the top 10 run-getters of the tournament, amassing 380 runs in 8 innings.

Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh, like Sehwag, played a pivotal role in India's triumph at the 2002 Champions Trophy. The all-rounder contributed 65 runs in 2 innings, including a crucial 62-run knock against South Africa in the semi-final, along with picking up a wicket in 3 innings. In the 2007 T20 World Cup, Yuvraj's performance became legendary, particularly his explosive innings against England, where he smashed a 12-ball fifty and hit 6 consecutive sixes. Overall, he scored 148 runs in 5 matches at a remarkable strike rate of 194.73. Yuvraj's standout performance came in the 2011 ODI World Cup, where he received the Player of the Tournament award for his exceptional all-round display. He scored 362 runs and took 15 wickets throughout the tournament, cementing his place in cricketing history.

Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh, alongside Sehwag and Yuvraj, was a key member of the victorious Indian team in multiple ICC tournaments. In the 2002 Champions Trophy, the former off-spinner emerged as the third-highest wicket-taker with six scalps in five matches. During the 2007 T20 World Cup triumph, Harbhajan Singh contributed significantly, with seven wickets in as many matches. In the 2011 ODI World Cup, he played a crucial role, picking up 9 wickets in 9 innings, including a pivotal spell of 2 for 43 against PAK in the semi-final.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni

MS Dhoni led the Indian team to victory in all three major ICC tournaments. Leading an inexperienced squad, he guided India to their first T20 World Cup triumph in 2007. Dhoni also contributed with the bat, scoring 154 runs in 6 innings during the tournament. Three years later, Dhoni led India to a historic ODI World Cup victory at the Wankhede Stadium. He scored 241 runs in 8 matches at an average of 48.20, including a crucial 91-run inning in the 2011 ODI World Cup final. In the 2013 Champions Trophy, Dhoni's impact was felt primarily through his wicketkeeping and captaincy skills. He recorded 9 dismissals, comprising 5 catches and four stumpings. Dhoni's tactical acumen played a key role in India successfully defending a modest total in the rain-affected final.

Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli made his ICC event debut during the 2011 ODI World Cup, starting with an unbeaten century against Bangladesh and accumulating 282 runs in nine matches. In the 2013 Champions Trophy, Kohli emerged as one of the top 5 run-scorers, amassing 176 runs in five innings. His unbeaten 58 against Sri Lanka in the semi-final and 43 against England in the final played crucial roles in India's triumph in the tournament. It took Kohli a decade to secure the T20 World Cup title with India in 2024. While he had a relatively quiet campaign initially, opening alongside captain Rohit Sharma, Kohli contributed 151 runs in 8 innings, including a pivotal 76-run innings against South Africa in the final.
