There’s no space left in the trophy cabinet of these English football clubs

In the world of football, the word dominant is not used very often because there arefew teams who are competent of picking up trophies every season. However, some exclusive clubs have dictated the stage for a definite period and in the process, they have picked up several silverwares. In this article, we have listed those clubs from England that have achieved the highest number of trophies to date. 

Manchester United- There’s a reason Manchester United is the most valuable club of the Premier League. Indeed, their performance in recent years has not been on point, but they enjoy the highest number of trophies. So far, the Red Devils have won 47 trophies and if we count the 21 Community Shield titles, they have a total of 68 trophies. 

Liverpool- When it comes to performing in European competitions, Liverpool is naturally better because they have six Champions League trophies compared to Manchester United’s three. However, in terms of total trophies, Liverpool at present has 46 trophies. If we consider the 15 Community Shield titles, Liverpool has 61 trophies in total. 

Arsenal- Yes, it is correct that this is not the Arsenal we have observed growing because the Arsenal we knew was a powerhouse in England. Their last significant accomplishment was against Chelsea in 2017 when the Gunners picked up the FA Cup trophy. Glories of the yesteryear, Arsenal holds the third position with 48 trophies in their stadium’s cabinet. 

Chelsea- Playing from Stamford Bridge, Chelsea has around 31 trophies in its trophy cabinet. The cabinet includes six League titles, eight FA Cup titles, five League Cup titles, one European Cup, two Cup Winner’s Cup and two Europa League. Not to forget, the Blue also has a number of Community Shield titles. 

Manchester City- The team of Manchester City has 26 trophies as per information available on the official website of transfermrkt. As per the website, Manchester City has achieved six League titles, six FA Cup titles, seven League Cup titles, one Cup Winner’s Cup and six Super Cup titles. Unfortunately, the club has never managed to win the coveted Champions League. 

Tottenham Hotspur- Tottenham Hotspur has 24 trophies in their club’s trophy cabinet. The club so far has accomplished one Cup Winner’s Cup, seven English Super Cup titles, two UEFA Cup titles, four English League Cups, eight FA Cups and two League titles in 1951 and 1961.
