A herb, Mint has long been a culinary part of Indian cooking. From ancient times, the use of pudina has been done either in the main course or else as a dip chutneys, raitas, and sherbets. While it may be regarded by some as just a way of adding flavor to the food but it has multiple health benefits. It has the carminative and antispasmodic property that provides relief from bloating and gas and its essential oil is said to be beneficial for toothache problems.
Besides that it also has remarkable medicinal properties as it is a rich source of polyphenols and has a distinct taste and aromatic odor. In fact, they are also low on calories containing very low amounts of proteins, fats, and an enormous amount of vitamins. There is no stopping to its nutritional benefit.

Mint is known to make the skin healthy owing to its medicinal property of anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial that is instrumental in treating acne and pimples on the skin. Mint contains a high amount of salicylic acid which acts anti-acne and also as an effective skin cleanser.
Mint has antioxidant properties that help you get clean and youthful skin by removing free-radicals from the body. Mint also retains the moisture in the skin clears off lifeless skin cells, and dirt from the skin pores and makes the skin looks radiant and toned.
Chewing mint leaves is a great way to improving oral hygiene and dental health, as the oils in the pudina leave make the breath fresh killing the mouth bacteria making the gums and teeth are healthy.
Many don’t know about this, mint is a great remedy for treating the common cold. Boil a bunch of mint or mind leaves in water and take steam from that water.
