Suffering from Fungal Infection is a real pain. Try these home remedies to get rid of it.

Fungal Infection is one of the most common skin diseases, faced by people of any age group, background or gender. Caused by a fungus, this infection appears on anywhere of the skin, and gradually spreads into the tissues, bones and organs. Poor hygiene, humid weather, weak immune system, obesity, hormonal fluctuations and unhealthy lifestyle are the most common reasons that trigger Fungal Infection. The symptoms include irritation, redness, itchiness, flaking, swelling, blisters and several other skin conditions.

While proper medication is the most common way to treat this disease, there are also some home remedies which treat fungal infection in a very natural, inexpensive yet effective way.

Soap and Water

The simplest remedy to treat fungal infection is washing the affected area thoroughly with soap and water. Do this twice a day to restrict the infection from spreading.

Apple Cider Vinegar

The anti-fungal components in Apple Cider Vinegar prevent the infection from its core and reduce itchiness and dryness of the affected area. Apply this on your skin, leave it for 15 minutes and then, rinse it off with water. Do this thrice a day and see the result.

Garlic

Due to the anti-bacterial, anti biotic and anti-fungal properties, Garlic treats fungal infection in a very effective way. Mix a paste with crushed garlic and olive oil, apply it on the infected area, leave it for 2 hours and then wash it off. Also, eating garlic on a regular basis reduces some symptoms of this infection.

Turmeric

The anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties in Turmeric treat fungal infection in a very quick and effective way. Make a paste with Turmeric and water, apply it on the affected area, leave it until it gets dry and then rinse it off with water.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is regarded as one of the most beneficial medicines to treat any kind of skin diseases. Its antiseptic properties fight against bacteria and treat fungal infection from its core. Apply some aloe vera gel on the infected area, leave it for some time and wash it off.

Coconut Oil

The fatty acids in coconut oil kill fungal cells and prevent infection. Apply some organic coconut oil on the infected area and repeat this thrice a day for better result.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is known for its anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. Mix few drops of tea tree oil with some coconut oil, apply the mixture on the infected area and repeat this for three to four times a day.

Also you can use Grapefruit seed extract, Oregano oil, Lemongrass oil, Neem leaves etc and maintain a healthy diet to treat fungal infection.
