Must-Have Ice-Inspired Ideas for Your Summer Party

Hosting a summer party? We know just what it needs.

Summer and ice have a long term relationship, and we just can’t get over the relief it brings on the scorching days. Be it something to chill your beverages or the ice lolly to rely on, here are some perfect summer antidotes you will need to keep up in the summer heat.

Ice Buckets And Trays

Serve chilled beverages and drink in buckets made of ice. You can also use it as an alternative to keep your fruit cuts chilled and well preserved. Here is how you can make your own ice bucket without enlisting any trouble.

You will need some cheap plastic containers or trays of various sizes, bright-coloured fruits like strawberries, roses, orange, lemon slice, cranberries, and greens for starters.

Freeze a small amount of water at the bottom and then add the fruits and let it freeze in layers to have a bucket of frozen fruits ready to be used for a fantastic summer party.

You can use the same process to create an ice tray to keep fruit slices chilled before eating them.

The Wheelbarrow Refreshment Station

Instead of laying out the juices individually on the table, get creative and made a plastic cup wheelbarrow. Make sure it is deep enough to scoop a whole cup for you. Add some ice, and you have an excellent drink disposal machine for your perfect summer party.

Fancy Ice Cubes

Why go for the ordinary cube when you can use all kinds of different ice shapes. Get yourself some punky moulds like, shell, and ball and have them frozen and put in your transparent drinks to make each one look like a unique glass of mystery! You can also freeze a chunk of fruit inside the mould to add a tinge of flavour to your beverage while your ice melts.

Ice Glasses

Just like how you prepared the ice bucket, make a set of ice glasses that will make any drink icy cold in seconds. You can also arrange some games as to who finishes the glass first without dropping it!

Glow In The Dark Ice Cubes

Using tonic water mixed in filtered water will make your ice glow in the dark. Use it in unique moulds and amuse your guests as the lights go out and the real summer party begins.
