It's a vibrant playground offering a treasure trove of experiences. Discover achingly cool cafes and bars, where the hip and fashionable gather to savor culinary delights and sip refreshing drinks. One of Bondi's unique features is its ocean pool, carved into the rocks at the southern end of the beach. This saltwater pool is a safe and refreshing swimming experience.
And then there’s this incredible beach that doesn't get scorching hot, even with the intense Queensland sun shining down on it. Whitehaven Beach is no ordinary beach. Walking on this beach is like stepping onto a cloud because it's made of 98% pure silica, which makes it unbelievably white and soft. It’s so soft that is squeaks when you walk. Pretty dang special, isn’t it?
Australian beaches is a postcard dream. Don’t believe it? Check out Tasmania’s Wineglass Bay - a picturesque pink granite peaks meeting a beach shaped like a delicate clamshell, adorned with powdery sand that gently fades into a sapphire sea. The water can be chilly since Antarctica is only hop, swim and skip from here. And here's a fun fact with a slightly gruesome twist: The bay got its name during Australia's whaling era, when the waters here were sadly tinged with the color of blood.
For the ultimate sunrise and moonrise experience head to Cable Beach, just outside Broome. Nature’s spectacular show comes alive on this beach. With 22 kilometers of pristine white sand and crystal-clear azure waters, Cable Beach is bordered by dunes on one side and striking ochre-red cliffs on the other. And if you visit it in the right months, you get to witness "Staircase to the Moon" when the radiance of the full moon casts shimmering ripples over the ocean, resembling a celestial staircase. You’ll have to see it to actual believe it. Australia is quite something.
Now if you’re visiting Australia, you must have swimming goals. For a relaxing time on pristine sandy beach, to wave coral blue waters, head over to Cossies on Direction Island.
