Shanti Priya / Sandy - Om Shanti Om

In her debut film, the stunning actress carried off her role effortlessly despite sharing the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan. What’s more? She ended up taking home the Filmfare award for the Best Debut (Female) that year.

Piku - Piku

One of her best characters till date, Piku saw Deepika in the role of a mature woman who goes through many struggles, however, manages to stay positive in small things. Her act as Piku alongside her onscreen father Amitabh Bachchan and co-star Irrfan was much appreciated by critics as well as the audience.

Leela - Goliyon Ki Rasleela: RamLeela
