It's packed with health benefits and the recipes are super easy and quick to make for you to relish its goodness at home. It is loaded with vitamins, protein and is rich in nutrients. Blueberry quinoa  porridge

Start your day with a delicious replacement of porridge. The quinoa porridge is full of protein.

You will need:

2 cups of boiled quinoa

½ tsp cinnamon powder

1 vanilla bean or vanilla essence

1 cup of blueberries

¼ cup of almond

1 tbsp honey 

Method:

Whisk together milk, cinnamon and vanilla bean seeds. Pour milk into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Add quinoa to it and let it boil for another five minutes. Add honey or sugar to it and mix well. Pour in a bowl and top it with blueberries and chopped almonds.

Quinoa parfait

1 cup boiled quinoa

1tsp vanilla essence

1 cup plain greek yoghurt

1/4th tsp cinnamon powder

Pinch of salt

Any fruits of your choice -chopped

2 tbsps muesli

Method:

Whisk yoghurt, cinnamon, vanilla essence and salt. Take a dessert glass and half fill it with the whisked yoghurt. Layer it with 2 tbsp of boiled quinoa. Layer with yoghurt again and top it with muesli. Let it cool and serve.

Garlic mushroom quinoa

You will need:

1cup of sliced mushroom

2 cups of boiled quinoa

1 tbsp chopped garlic

2-3 sprigs of rosemary

Chilly flakes

½ tsp of salt

Lemon juice

Butter

Heat butter in a pan and add chopped garlic, saute for five minutes and add mushrooms to it. Add rosemary, salt and chilli flakes and mix well. Now add boiled quinoa and give it a mix. Squeeze half a lemon and serve it hot.
