India is home to an array of landscapes that provide scenic locations for tourists to visit. Whenever we think about going for a holiday be it solo or with friends and family the options most of us select are we speak hill stations, beaches especially Goa or Kerala, thrilling lush green forests, serene islands like the Andamans, or culturally rich historical sites come.

1.Parvati valley  

Located in the land of Gods, Himachal Pradesh, Parvati Valley is placed at the confluence of the Parvati and Beas rivers and is one of the most popular valleys of India. This scenic valley is astoundingly beautiful and quite scenic, and people from across the globe visit. It’s a preferred holiday destination for backpackers and hippies. If you are an adventure lover, then there are various trekking trails available here for trekking and camping. While being there you can visit a few beautiful but small and serene places like Kasol, Tosh, Manikaran, and Kheerganga. These places are quite famous, especially among backpackers and hippies. are the places hippies like to head to in the Parvati Valley. Here you can find many Israeli cafes where you can try Israeli cuisines and also enjoy the hot water springs of Manikaran which are believed to have therapeutic values.  
  1. Spiti Valley 

Spiti Valley is a scenic valley among all the best valleys in India, and every year thousands of tourists visit here. 

Spiti is a picture-perfect valley, located amidst beautiful towns like Lahul, Kullu, Ladakh, and Kinnaur. Spiti valley is also known as Little Tibet as here there are many monasteries with a decent population of Buddhist people. Spiti Valley is home to picturesque hilly streams, lush green forests, hillside quaint hamlets, and vibrant monasteries which makes Spiti valley a perfect holiday destination. Here you can enjoy outdoor activities like Spiti Valley trekking, jeep safaris, and Yak. It’s also famous because here you can spot rare animals like Himalayan fox, Himalayan Tahr, snow leopards, and musk deer. A road trip is the best way to enjoy this valley but other options are also available. Kullu is the nearest airport and Kalka is the closest railhead. Another way of reaching here is via Manali from where you can drive through the Rohtang pass and the Hampta pass to reach Spiti valley.

  1. Ziro Valley 

Ziro Valley is probably the least known valley in this list but this beautiful valley is slowly getting recognition because of the famous Ziro music festival. 

Located in the northeast state of Arunachal Pradesh, Ziro Valley is a World Heritage Site and it has unparalleled natural beauty. It’s not as commercial as other famous valleys, it’s less crowded and you can peacefully explore its beauty without much noise and crowd but during the annual Ziro festival, it becomes a bit crowded still way better than other commercial valleys. Here there are many things to witness right from temples, rice fields, beautiful plantations, and wildlife sanctuaries. If you are looking for a place to spend some time in serenity then Ziro Valley is an ideal choice where you can go soul searching amidst the serene green pastures. Don’t forget to visit the famous Meghna Cave temple which is flocked by most visitors to this valley. Some other popular tourist attractions here are the Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, Midey, and Kile Pakho.
