Leftover kebab recipes - how to use the leftover kebab

You will never throw away your leftover kebabs from last night’s dinner.

Most of you end up cooking a little extra than required when you have a party at your place. Nobody likes to waste the food but at times you end up throwing the extra food. If your dinner has kebabs cooked, there is nobody who would not cook extra few lip-smacking kebabs, because nobody can stop eating those mouth melting kebabs and hence you always end up cooking extra. It’s time to get creative with your leftover kebabs. Here are 3  recipes that you can try to make with your leftover kebabs.

KEBAB SANDWICH

You will need:

2-3 KEBABS - SLICED

1 tbsp mustard sauce

1 tbsp mayonnaise

Chilli flakes

Sliced onion

Butter

Cheese slice

In a bowl, whisk mustard sauce, mayonnaise, chilli flakes, salt and add the kebabs into it.. Spread butter on the bread slices. Place onion slices and cheese slice. Spread the kebab mixture evenly on the bread. Top it with a sliced onion and cheese slice and cover it with another slice of bread. Grill in a toaster and serve with mint chutney.

KEBAB WRAP

You will need:

2 - 3 kebabs -minced

1 tbsp honey mustard sauce

1tbsp mayonnaise

1 tbspsriracha sauce

Cheese slice

Thinly sliced onion

Finely chopped chillies

1tbsps olive oil

Thinly sliced capsicum

Steamed corn

Salt, pepper and chilli powder

On a chopping board, put all the ingredients and chop it to a minced texture. Ix well and add the sauces, salt and pepper.

Place a tortilla wrap and spread add the mixture, top it with a cheese slice and roll it in a wrap. Grill it in th toasting griller for two minutes. Cut in halves before serving.

KEBAB FRIED RICE

1 cup steamed rice

3-4 cloves Chopped garlic

1 Sliced onion

2 Dry red chilli - whole

1-2 tbsp ghee

1 bay leaf

Salt

2 cloves

2-3 peppercorns

1 small cardamom

½ inch cinnamon stick

Leftover kebab pieces

In a pan, heat ghee and add red chilli, bay leaf, and dry spices. Mix and add chopped garlic, saute for two minutes and add onion, add salt and pepper. Add rice and kebab and mix well. Let it cook for five minutes and take it off. Serve it with raita.

So now you know that no matter how many of your kebabs are left, they can be reused and made into these scrumptious dishes. These recipes are refreshing and filling. Your next meal is sorted if you have kebabs left from last night's dinner.
