Making a stress ball at home is not that hard. It will be a great stress relieving activity and you can customize it to your liking! The items required are so easy to find and the steps to make it are super simple. You will need these:

How To Make Your Own Stress Ball At Home

  • 2 balloons
  • Funnel
  • Flour
  • Spoon
  • Pencil
  • Instructions

Step 1:

It is best to work in a place that is covered with sheets of old newspaper or a plastic sheet. It may get a little messy, so you need to make sure that it is easy to clean up once you are done.

Step 2:

Put the funnel’s end into the mouth of a deflated balloon. Make sure it is properly secured.

Step 3:

Start filling it up with the flour. You can use the spoon to avoid touching the flour and making a mess. Don’t fill the funnel to the brim, or it will get clogged. You can use the pencil to unclog it.

Step 4:

Once you have filled the balloon with flour, remove as much air from it as you possibly can. Now, tie it up securely.

Step 5:

Now, put the ball inside the second balloon. This will prevent any messy accidents from occurring in the future. You can now decorate your stress ball.

That’s it! You have DIYed your own stress ball. Filling up the balloon with flour is quite time-consuming, so don’t get impatient! It is actually an excellent stress-relieving exercise!

Tips To Remember

  • Instead of flour, you can also use sand. But flour does work better because it feels smoother and is easier to mould. If you want a stress ball as a toy to play with, feel free to use sand.
  • Some other options for filling are: baking soda, rice, and beans.
  • Keep your stress ball away from pets and kids.
  • If you don’t have balloons, you can also use latex gloves.
  • Don’t throw the ball at the wall or get too squeezy with it, no matter how stressed you may be. If it breaks, there will be flour everywhere, and there will be the additional stress of cleaning it all up.
