Cleaning dirty pots and pans can be challenging. Oftentimes, they have stains that are hard to remove. Here are some easy ways to get rid of stains, gunk and other unwanted particles from your pots and pans.

Getting rid of burned food stuck on pots and pans

Burned foods stuck on pot and pans can be extremely frustrating. Before you toss it in the trash try this. Make a paste with peroxide with some baking soda. Then apply the mixture to the dirty pan. Rub it on the area with the burned food. Once that is done, leave it for an hour and let the treatment work its magic. Next, soak the pan in warm water and use a sponge to wipe it down. The gunk and burned particles should wash off.

Club soda

Want to spend as little time as possible washing dishes, especially the ones that require a lot of scrubbing? Try this. When you are done cooking your food, pour club soda on all the empty pots and pans you just used. Let the soda do its work while you eat. The bubbles in the soda work to loosen the grim, which will help to make cleaning the pots so much easier.

Stain removal strategy for aluminium pots

Aluminium pots can be covered in stains that are tough to remove. To fix this problem, combine water with either a cup of vinegar or lemon juice. Pour the mixture into the pot and boil it. Allow it to simmer for a few minutes before you wash the pot. You can use tartar to get rid of more stubborn stains. Just apply a few spoons of the cream on the stain directly and add a few cups of water. Boil it for a few minutes and then wash it.

Getting rid of gunk on glass

If you love to bake, you may already know some stains can be hard to remove from glass dishes. If you don’t know what to do and have tried everything, here is a trick for you. The key is to give it a little time and have a little patience. Pour some warm water into the dish and add a small amount of denture cleaner. Leave it alone for an hour before you give it a wash. Your dish should look almost brand new after this treatment.
