There is a place called downhill in Darjeeling. According to the residents, there is a home for many spirits in the woods of downhill. There are some boarding schools around those woods. The students of these schools have claimed that they heard footsteps in their hallway at night and other kinds of disturbing noises that haunt them. Although no specific incident took place there many bodies are found in the area. Villagers say that they have seen a boy without a head in the woods at night. So they avoid going there after the evening.
Bhangarh Fort
Bhangarh Fort is a tourist spot situated in Gujarat. It is famous for being one of the haunted places in India. There are many stories about this fort and one of the stories claims that it is cursed by Guru BaluNath. There was an emperor Madho Singh who built the city with the approval of Guru BaluNath. There was a condition that the shadow of the fort should not fall over the Guru's place but it did not happen. Guru cursed the place that it will crumble into ruins and since then no construction has ever survived there.
Mussoorie
This is a story of Savoy hotel in Mussoorie. This hotel became a famous haunted place after the death of Lady Garnet Orme, a British spiritualist. Many people have also witnessed mysterious sights. This lady was found dead in the hotel room and the death was caused by placing poison in the medicine bottle. The doctor who treated her was found dead in the same manner. Since then it is known as the haunted place in Mussoorie.
Beach Horror
There is a Dumas beach in Gujarat known for the mysterious sights and incidents that took place there. This was the burial ground for Hindus and many believed restless spirits call out people there and hypnotize them. After hypnotizing, people follow the spirit and walk towards the seashore of The Arabian Sea. So many deaths take place there throughout the year and people disappear in the water.
