The café was a monastery on the verge of demolition in 2006 but was preserved by converting it into a gallery-cum-café. The exterior of the building does not fit the usual bill of quirky café. A two-floored café, the first floor replicates a Ladhaki residence, and the second terrace floor offers an unparalleled view of the Leh Palace.
