'Ricky Stanicky' (2024)

Cena totally nails it in "Ricky Stanicky." He plays Ron Rimestead, a washed-up actor hired to be a made-up friend. The fun starts when Ron just won't leave, and it’s chaos from there. Cena’s comedic chops shine with hilarious moments, like singing crazy covers and wild-method acting. "Ricky Stanicky" feels like an old-school comedy, and Cena’s the reason it’s such a blast.

'Bumblebee' (2018)

In "Bumblebee," Cena stars as Agent Jack Burns, a U.S. Army Colonel in a secret government team. Set in 1987, the film follows Bumblebee, who hides out in a junkyard and befriends a teenage girl named Charlie. Cena’s role brings a lot of excitement and depth to the story.

'Trainwreck' (2015)

‘The Wall’ (2017) 

In The Wall, John Cena plays Staff Sergeant Shane Matthews, teaming up with Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Sergeant Allen "Ize" Isaac. The film follows their gripping adventure as they get caught in a challenging situation in the desert. As Isaac takes cover behind a wall, Matthews, who recovers, tries to join the action. The story then focusses on Isaac’s clever efforts to overcome the dangerous situation and stay safe.
